Wednesday November 11, 2009 Elbert County Undersheriff Shayne Heap announced his Republican candidacy for the 2010 Elbert County Sheriff’s Election.

Shayne Heap is a public servant, not a politician. Having served with the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office for over eight years, Undersheriff Heap’s focus is on making Elbert County a safe and prosperous place to live, work and raise a family. He brings to the job recognized EXPERIENCE, a history of SERVICE to the community, and proven INTEGRITY. As Sheriff, Heap will continue his award-winning work, striving for ongoing development of the Sheriff’s Office functions, to more effectively serve the citizens of Elbert County.
